ABOUT ME
I live in a small village in Northamptonshire mid way between Northampton and Corby and I love the county. I have two grown up children, a boy and a girl, who are both career minded people and of whom I am very proud.
After thirty years in accounts and a bout of ill health I decided to follow my passion of photography instead of enduring stressful days in the office.
I have had an interest in photography since I was very young. My father used to be a keen, casual, wedding photographer and encouraged my sister and I to take up the hobby from an early age.
The first camera I had was a twin lens reflex 35mm which was heavier than I was at the time. My interest has grown over the years and I was never without my pocket camera. I used a Kodak Ektra 110 camera for a long time which did not produce the same quality of photos as todays modern digital cameras but the memories of time remain in my photos.
I like to photograph anything from people and animals to landscapes and racing, and any occasion in between!.
I currently have four Nikon cameras and have spent the last few years learning how to get the best out of them. I am a member of Rushden and District Photographic Society who are the nicest group of people you could meet. Check out the website at RDPS.
